Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Embassy serves as the primary diplomatic representation of the Government and the people of Kenya in Israel. Our mission is to promote and safeguard Kenya’s interests through diplomatic engagements, trade and investment facilitation, and consular services for Kenyan citizens residing in or visiting Israel.

The Government of Kenya
Kenya is a sovereign Republic with a multi-party democratic system of government founded on the national values and principles of governance as enumerated in the Constitution of Kenya.
Geography of Kenya
Kenya occupies an area of 582, 646 square kilometers (225, 000 square miles). Lying astride the Equator, Kenya extends approximately 4 ½ ° North and 4 ½ ° South of the Equator. The Terrain of Kenya consists of low plains in the East, rise to Central highlands and fertile plateau to the West of the country.
Brief History of Kenya
Around 2000 BC, Cushitic-speaking people from northern Africa settled in the part of East Africa that is now Kenya. By the 1st Century AD, the Kenyan coast was frequented by Arab traders, who due to Kenya’s proximity to the Arabian Peninsula, established Arab and Persian colonies there. The
Kenya - Israel Relations
Kenya and Israel share a longstanding diplomatic relationship dating back to Kenya’s independence in 1963. Israel was among the first countries to establish diplomatic ties with Kenya, and over the years, the two nations have engaged in mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as agriculture, security, technology, and education.
Kenya`s Foreign Policy
At the dawn of our independence Kenya pursued a foreign policy based on fundamental principles of peaceful co-existence, preservation of national security, peaceful settlement of disputes, non-interference in the internal affairs of other states, non-alignment, national interests and adherence to the Charter of the United Nations and the Africa Union Constitutive Act.
